Videos/YouTube

Jane emailed me yesterday that the Library of Congress YouTube channel has gone public. I've looked at one of their scholars webcasts on " Capturing Sound" how technology has changed music".

It's basically a talking-head video but at least I know the LOC has jumped on the bandwagon to video stream and deliver through YouTube.

Podcasts

Just listened to a segment of UC Berkeley's Economics lecture One on iTunesU. Look forward to a Ryerson file.

Brower Tools

Simply blown away by so many adds-on to choose from FireFox ( and images only) - FlickrFox, ZoomFox, Browse Image, Image Assistant, MorImage, ImageBot... For now I just stay with my little Delicious in the tool bar.

Facebook, etc.

I've turned down a number of real friends who invited me to join Facebook. I don't think I'm prepared to share my information in this context.

Google Docs

Just fininshed the word game. It's fun! It's like wikis and I can see the benefit of sharing the editing of a file. Will try this for updating web pages.
LibraryThing

Trying to catch up in April! I actually did the LibraryThing in March but forgot to blog.

Anyone interested in e-learning books?

Delicious

I did the assignment two weeks ago but never found the time to blog. Time is really my #1 enemy.

Yes, I'm a little concerned with the lack of authority control of tags. Some are so broad e.g. canada.
